Shamanic Journey Circle*

• Shamanic Journey is an ancient method of using simple repetitive drum
rhythm** to explore the world of spirit and energy.
• Using cross-cultural methods similar to those used by shamans around the
world for thousands of years, we’ll journey for healing and empowerment for
ourselves and others.

Thusday, Dec. 29

Location:
83-5608 Middle Ke’ei: at the intersection of Napo’opo’o and Middle Ke’ei it

LETTER FROM JUDY ABOUT SUNDAY's EVENT

Aloha friends,

I write to tell you I'm inviting you to a deeper level of Interplay@. Some of you have shown interest, but haven't even come to Interplay and you may wonder what it is anyway (this email will tell you some of what I hope my second group - which begins Sunday, Nov. 28 from 1:30-3:30pm - can be).

Cofounder of this international movement called Interplay@, Cynthia Winton-Henry, has just released her new book, What the Body Wants. As I began reading it, I kept saying, "YES!! Yes! Yes!" and wanting to rush out and share it with everyone like an evangelist because this practice of Interplay has so deeply touched my life. It is something I need in my life in order to live more wholly and fully.

Here is a taste: "What the Body Wants is about reawakening our body wisdom, about saying yes to our whole life, and about being more playful, creative, powerful and integrated. This is both easy ad hard. Lao Tzu says, 'All difficult things have their origin in that which is easy, and great things in that which is small.' So it is with the seemingly simple ideas and practices in this
book. They offer a challenging new way of thinking and behaving, one that is rooted in an ethic of play. One person called this book a conversation process. It may inspire you to play more, to listen to your body more, to redefine spirit and mind, or just to wonder how freedom, play, and being embodied got so hard....What the Body Wants is a treasure map and you are the treasure."

Interplay helps me to have more ease in my life.
I'd like to share it with you!
I dream of building a spiritual community in which we can all have support to live more integrated and full lives.

This FREE group will begin Sunday, Nov. 28 from 1:30 - 3:30pm at Pualani Terrace in the Hawaiian School of Massage building in Kealakekua.

There will be opportunity to use movement, voice, stillness and story, along with reflection on the wisdom of the body. You won't need to buy the book. You may want to bring a journal or something to write on.

Call if you have any questions or hope to come - especially if you are interested and simply cannot make this first time.

Big Aloha,
Judy Shook
